Chef Matthew Cruz
The Chef

The table whereit all began.

Our Story

Dinner was sacred.

Chef Matthew grew up in a house where the dinner table was the one appointment nobody was allowed to miss. However full the week — however loud the day had been — the family gathered. They laughed. They argued. They passed plates around and stayed long after the food was gone.

That table taught him everything he still cooks by: that a meal is a form of hospitality, that flavour is a way of caring, and that a great evening is measured in how people feel when it ends — not in what they ate.

For years, building his own private chef house was a dream he carried quietly. When he finally took the leap, Cruz Cuisine was born — not as a business first, but as a way to build that same table, again and again, in other people's homes.

Our Mission

To make the people we servegenuinely happy — one table at a time.

Every proposal is written personally. Every menu is designed for the room, the guests, and the moment they're gathering to mark. Nothing is off a template.

Hospitality, at its highest level, is quiet. The kitchen is spotless when we leave. The wine is poured before you notice the glass is empty. The chef comes out only when it's time to explain the course.

What remains, when the evening ends, is the only thing that matters to us — the memory of it.

Our Philosophy

Québec terroir,Michelin discipline.

Michelin Discipline

Every sauce mounted, every plate wiped, every temperature verified. The kitchen standard doesn't change because the kitchen is yours.

Québec Terroir

Québec Wagyu, Laurentian mushrooms, Charlevoix cheeses, pure maple. The province, on your plate.

Exclusive Purveyors

A small trusted circle of farms, foragers, and importers. Caviar, oysters, and truffle by market availability.

Mediterranean × Asian

A quiet Mediterranean warmth crossed with precise Japanese counterpoints — yuzu, miso, dashi, kombu — running through every menu.
